Nema 4 and 4x Enclosures

NEMA 4 and 4X Din Rail Enclosures are provided by STI for housing Proximity Probe Drivers. These enclosures are not limited to drivers, the enclosures may be used to mount a DIN rail mounted devices such as a transmitter. STI should be contacted for any non standard configuration.

The enclosure covers have a continuous hinge on the long side of the unit for convenience, and are secured to the enclosure with clamps. The enclosures are available in NEMA 4 painted steel or NEMA 4X stainless steel to suit most applications. All enclosures are provided with an oil resistant gasket and stainless steel clamps for easy screwdriver access.

All of the enclosures can be air purged with plant air to meet the specific application needs. A simple purge fitting for connection to plant air is available as a standard option. Hazardous area air purge systems can be supplied by STI to satisfy unique applications.

CMCP261 Liquid Tight Strain Relief Connectors

Liquid Tight Strain Relief Connectors are used for making direct accelerometer or transducer extension cable entries into the BNC Junction Boxes listed above. Long cable runs or cables other than the actual extension cable should be installed in conduit. Connectors are constructed of Polyamide and provide both environmental sealing and strain relief. The connectors are temperature rated to -40° to 212° F (-60° to 100° C). The connectors have a pressure rating of up to 150 PSIG.
